Aug 09, 2020 How to cancel Magzter Gold Subscription anytime? The Magzter Gold 999 offer plan will be renewed next year automatically if you didn’t cancel it before the expiry of 1 year. Suppose if after the completion of 1 year you are not interested in renewing it anymore then you can cancel the Magzter gold 999 subscriptions by following the below steps. I had subscribed for magzter gold subscription. I want to cancel it now as they are auto deducting the monthly fees without ny permission, however, there is no way to do that from their app or website. I want your help to cancel the auto-renewal of magzter gold subscription. My case id for future reference is: Magz569077. The issue with Magzter is that they don't make it easy to cancel. If you search cancel Magzter you're given info on how to do it via Apple ID which doesn't work if you sign up from their website. Review: I could not get any help from magzter customer service at all. I signed up for magzter with the wrong email address. They would not change it to the right email address so I could access my account properly. Yes I have already contracted magzter about this problem but they told me they could not find my account. Review: I am a online publisher. I owed ouch magazine and well as 2 new titles I just launched. I have uploaded my issues for sale on the Magzter website. I was told that they were still working on my issue but they listed one of my title for sale on the website. I login in and saw none of my magazine in the publisher login and I was blocked out from see if they had sold any of my magazines.The website states the publisher receive 50% of all sale and are able to see all sales and traffic. I believe this is a SCAM. They stole my magazine intent to sale them without paying me. They don't have a phone number only emails. They take a very long time to respond . Also I had given them my private business routing number and account info online to receive payments. Review: I found Magzter by means of their promotion-- they were giving away a trip in a sweepstakes. In order to enter the sweepstakes, you had to render your credit card info and agree to a 'free trial' period which was supposedly no-risk or obligation. I trusted that by publishing it as no-risk and no-obligation that the agreement we were making was for a one-month free trial. I accepted and tried the service for one day-- I did not like the interface or find it useful, I did not use it or think of it again. Imagine my surprise when I saw they took it upon themselves to register me for the GOLD membership and charge my credit card beyond our free trial agreement. And on top of it there is NO button or place on their website to cancel-- you must write a personal email and beg them to stop charging you-- and you are at their mercy whether they will or will not. I find it very telling-- that they don't offer a simple way to cancel online. I saw the charge come up on my credit card and contacted them within 3 days of the charge-- and they refused to refund me despite my never agreeing to any kind of monthly contract. Perhaps in their other promotions they make it clear that their free trial allows them to charge you without asking beyond that-- but for the sweepstakes promo it did not-- or I would not have done it. It said '[redacted]'Desired Settlement: Refund. I didn't use nor agree to the service-- no email or notice was sent that they were shifting our agreement from free trial to paid monthly charge without my permission. They don't get to do what they want with my credit card, just because I entered their promotion or agreed to a no risk free trial in which my credit card would not be charged (their words.) And then they charged it.

And upon first glance, it would seem that subscribing to the service would make all magazines available for reading at anytime. And not just the current issues of the magazines, but all the past issues available.
Depending on when Magzter partnered with a specific publisher, the reader might be able to access dozens of issues of a magazine. And given that the price of the subscription that should cover the thousands of magazines and all their past issues is very affordable, Magzter seems like the best option available.

This is the most popular subscription, and it’s available for only $7.99 a month. It’s easy for the visitor to assume that all the magazines will be available for reading if they sign up. But if the visitor doesn’t go straight for the subscription and has a look at least some of the magazines, they’ll notice that they can be purchased under different options.
There are monthly, quarterly or yearly subscriptions, and the user even has the possibility to purchase the current issue alone. Which is great, because it doesn’t force the user to subscribe if they’re only interested in one magazine.
Magzter is not just a subscription-based service, it also functions as a regular digital newsstand. But what’s surprising is that not all the magazines have the option to be accessed through the Gold subscription. Even if they were listed on the main page of the website, right under the subscription.
Even before subscribing, the magazines can be browsed based on category, country, and even by name by those who are searching for a particular title. But we assume that many of the visitors skip this process entirely and go to the subscription. Especially since the magazines on the main page make it look like an easy choice.
But if they go to Vogue or Top Gear for example, which are of course displayed on the main page, they’ll find out that they’re not actually covered by the subscription. In fact, it’s impossible to determine which magazines exactly are covered without having a look at each of them.
There is no list that shows what’s included and what is not. Which is a serious problem, because clients have no idea what they get without putting in a serious amount of effort and time.
Users can see lists of the most popular magazines, newest additions and even free magazines, but they’re left in the dark when it comes to what the subscription actually offers. It seems that the most popular magazines are not covered, so Magzter is far from “Netflix for magazines”.
Of course, subscribing for these magazines is still less expensive than purchasing them issues by issue, but still, the advertising is misleading.
Magzter also offers a second subscription option, Gold Lite. It’s available for $4.99 a month, and covers 5 magazines. The user is free to chose which magazines will be included in the subscription, and change them from month to month.
But of course, they can’t choose the magazines that are not included in the Gold subscription.

Both subscriptions renew automatically, and those who want to unsubscribe must do so with at least 24 hours before the current subscription expires. Unless of course if they’ve turned off the auto-renewal feature from their accounts.
Thankfully this is possible both through the website and the apps, but many of the clients don’t notice the option. And this is very unfortunate given that Magzter doesn’t issue refunds. Not that the subscribers have any way of knowing this, since it’s not mentioned anywhere on the website, not even in the terms and conditions section.
What are the pros?
Despite having a number of drawbacks, Magzter is a great option for any avid reader. It offers an amazing number of magazines, more than any other provider, and for a very low subscription fee. No matter what interests the reader, they’ll surely find magazines that they’ll enjoy.
Also, Magzter has settings that allow users to receive notifications when their favorite magazines (or articles that fit their interests) are released. And some of the articles include content that is not available in the printed versions of the magazines, including videos and links to various websites.
And even without the added benefits, the digital issues are a better choice for those who are environmentally conscious. In fact, Magzter mentions exactly how many trees (and how much oil and water) have been saved by using the service. Also, unlike printed magazines, the digital issues will never deteriorate and will stay available for the reader for as long as they want.

Many of the magazines presented on the main page of the website are not included in the subscriptions.
